April 26th, *twiddling thumbs* Screw it lets hit Hate!

Hate... yup that's about all I have to say about this event. (Note: I havn't
updated the website in over a week, so I am running short on things to say :P)
I will say though that this hate run lead to crappy poop drops. We didn't
really get jack didley. The only notable item that came out of the event
was the Necro Focus item, which was awarded to Zaner.

April 23rd, Hello Vox here we come... again.

Caer Cadarn beat us to Nagafen due to our time zone differences, so we went
for Vox... and well, she died.

April 21st, Agony has a BBQ with some members in Northern California,
servers crash and we charge the dragons again!

April 19th, Who is Agony's best outfitted player? Well, Mr. Bank of course!
Nagafen down, server crash, Vox down, Nagafen down again, 3 in one night,
Agony strikes against the dragons.

After continual efforts to try and get some decent dragon items, Vox finally
put out, er put up, er gave up... whatever.

April 17th, Agony kills Lord Nagafen and Lady Vox back to back.

A crazy night for Agony, with the emergency patch ruining our first trek
towards Lord Nagafen, Agony was determined to not give up.

April 13th, Agony gets bored and heads to Hate with 18 people.
|
Friday the 13th and nothing to do, Agony grabs the troops and off to Hate we
go. The break was smooth, no major fatalities. Everyone got into position
and the pulling began. The drops were fantastic, in the short time we were
up there we couldn't complain, it worked out well. It
was definetly a warrior helm night! We unfortunatly started getting tired
around the time we made it to the NE section to pull the revenants, so our
casters suffered this trip, but they will be taken care of on the next run :)

April 12th, Agony packs Lord Nagafen up in a body bag.
|
Well the day has come for Agony to sink their teeth into the red scaley
dragon Lord Nagafen. Just 1 day earlier Agony ran the troops down, only to
find that Lord Nagafen was no where to be found, he evaded us yet again.
Rumors had formed that Lord Nagafen had spawned, so we gathered the troops
up again and headed into battle.
Success was ours, with only 24 people in attendance (no nukers either), Lord
Nagafen fell to the wrath of Agony.
The dragon gave us a little trouble mid-fight and decided that he just
really wanted to play in the lava, this made healing difficult as the tanks
were being summoned in, but Agony held strong, pulled it together and
continued fighting to bring the red beast to his death.
An excellent effort set forth by all in attendance, great work Agony!

April 11th, Agony pays tribute to their monks.

Agony was tired of their monks looking so frail, so we decided to pay a
little visit to Brother Zephyl and Brother Qwinn, who so graciously donated
their Robes of the Lost Circle to our 2 favorite monks, Krialis and

April 11th, Agony web site back online...

Sorry folks, the Agony website sustained some major ISP changes over the
last few weeks. Everything is well now, and our site is back online.
Sorry for the downtime :)
While the site was down Agony tackled Phinigel, Vessel, Tangrin, FG's about
5 times, and many other named mobs, however we havn't had Lodizal in a
while. We have noticed however there is now a character named Mystikye in
the zone quite often, I guess someone else was upset that Agony kept poppin
the turtle and left a gimp to watch for him. Oh well :) We'll get the
turtle again soon enough!

March 17th-21st, Agony slates days for leveling.

A very active week, Lodizal, Naggy, Epic mobs, Agony's officer's decide its
time to take a break and get some exp. The 17th-21st, deemed leveling days.

March 15th, Agony goes for more Turtle Soup.
|
We caught that turtle red handed yet again, Lodizal you will not escape us
today! After recovering from yesterdays dragon slaughter, Lodizal gave
Agony just what they needed to recover, a big happy beat down on this
oversized shell covered green beast.
Special thanks to our 2 guests on the raid from In-Virtue Atro and Rhyu, by
the way... GOD DAMN Rhyu can taunt... Lodizal really liked him :)

March 14th, Lord Nagafen owns Agony.
|
March 14th will be a day long not forgotten. With the guild being less than
3 months old, Agony suffered it's first defeat. The founding members have
fought Lord Nagafen more times than they can count but today Nagafens
reactions to our attack were very different from the 'Good Ole Naggy' we
were used to defeating time and time again. We made 2 attempts on the red
beast, managing to get him down to Lord in Lord Nagafen on the attempts.
Unfortunatly Nagafen was warping around the room so much that our tanks
could not control him, he would stay in battle for 2-3 seconds and then warp
to the door by the hallway, flap his wings around then warp to his bind
spot, then run around the lair then warp to the door again, and he repeated
this cycle continually through the entire fight, making it nearly impossible
to fight him with any melee. The officers spent a good portion of time
after the event analying what caused his reactions so on our next attempt he
will fall for sure, revenge shall be ours.
With all the chaos going on during the fight and the mass slaughter of
bodies strewn about his surrounding area I must give a large amount of
credit to the guild members for their continual positive attitudes and drive
to take that scaley chump down. Agony never ceases to amaze me with the
teamwork and positive efforts continually shown to each other and to the
guild as a whole. Good work team, we'll get him next time :)

March 11th, Agony battles non-stop all day/night. Fire Giants, Rokyl,
Efreeti, Cazel, Verina....
|
12:30PST Agony formed up outside Sol B to start the days events, the
original plan was to knock out the Efreeti and cycle shifts in and out to
outfit the guild with Golden Efreeti Boots and D-Rings. That happened and
much more. The guild zoned into Sol B and started heading towards Efreeti
when some of our guild druids issued tracks and noticed Fire Giants were up,
so we decided to make a stop over there and take them out before commencing
the boring Efreeti camping. The Fire Giants fell, Rokyl fell, and off to the
Efreeti the guild went. The break was a cakewalk, and somewhat humorous,
sending 17-18 people at a camp that only takes 4 to break was quite funny.
Mobs had no idea what hit them.
Efreeti was broken, 1 Ring, 1 set of Boots dropped. Gratz to Khaotik on the
ring and Serafina on the boots.
Shortly thereafter a guild member came across guild chat that Cazel was up
in Oasis, so Serafina grabbed the troops after the Efreeti was over and
headed to Oasis to get another piece for her Epic weapon.
Cazel fell fast, we stormed him swords blazing. In the heat of the battle
the guild decided to get another piece for Serafina's epic, because one big
mob just wasn't enough for the day, so off to Neriak they went to take down
Verina Tomb, and let me tell you Verina was not expecting the pain she
received.
Thanks to every guild member who attended off and on throughout the day to
help make yet another successful day of guild events.

March 10th, Agony catches Lodizal in Iceclad, poor turtle had no idea what
he was in for.
|
At the crack of dawn Serafina receives a phone call, crawls her butt out of
bed and drives the troops to victory on Lodizal. Our first attempt at
Lodizal last week was a success but we had a bump in the road, this raid was a
total beat down on Lodizal. A fantastic pull together by the guild, when the
call to arms was made members were there buffed and ready to brawl in under
20 minutes. Good work Agony! :)

March 9th, News Archives Added!
|
As time continued and Agony grew, so did our News section. A new section
has been created called "News Archives" where bi-monthly news will be
archived. All our history remains in tact, but now our opening page is a
little less cluttery.

March 7th, The red sky appears in Oasis, the Agony troops arrive to storm
the level 45+ GM event.
|
As an Agony guild member (Vicious) passes through Oasis, the sky turns red,
a GM message passes through the zone and 4 level 45+ named spectres spawn.
Agony gathered the troops and began the slaughter. 2 of the spectres
despawned, 1 spectre was dragged north and taken down by Sacred Fires and
friends, and the last spectre was owned by Agony with the assistance of 3
In-Virtue members.

1 75% weight reducer bag 8 slots
1 Velium 2HS weapon with some decent stats (ac/str/hp)

March 3rd, Agony passes by Lodizal in Iceclad and decides it's time
for the turtle to die by our hands.
|
WOW! That's all I can really say. This was Agony's first downing of a
semi-uber mob as an entire guild. We've aided a few other guilds and done
some of our own mini-raids, but tonight Agony made a call to arms and
Serafina lead the guild to a successful slaying of Lodizal in Iceclad.
