August 30th, Agony downs the Velkanator... and then some..

So I wrote this little story of our event this evening.. and well someone
*cough bish cough* decided it wasn't good enough... so let me try
again.
Agony was grinding away exp, when I got a call on the Serafina-hotline
informing me a dragon was up and I should rally the forces to take him down
since nothing major was happening. I logged in and sure enough Talendor was
chillin in Skyfire. We grouped up, ported in, pulled and killed... nothing
major he dies real fast these days.
So with the forces all gathered, folks were talking about killing something
else, because I mean why not right? We're all just hanging out lets go woop
some ass. Just for the sake of doing, we decided to go pay a visit to Velks
lab and kill the Lord Djornamoron. He died too quick to even get
screenshots.
Ok so now we've downed 2 mobs in a small amount of time and still looking
for something to kill. Hey, Ive got it! Velketor! We havn't killed him
yet, lets go bum rush that bugger and see if we can take him down.
Agony cruised up into the Velk castle and cleared out the yard trash, which
btw we had 2 named golems up... gratz Trueblade on Gloves, and Mjolnir on
Legs (the tradable high AC blood something ones).
Into the castle we go.. down the hall and outside Velks door. We buffed up,
kicked the door in and layed the royal Agony beat down to this bish ass...
our first time taking him down and OH BOY the JOY! (ghey) .. anyways it was
a blast tonight just zone hopping and trashing mobs... great work
everyone!
Drops off Talendor were Red Dragon Shield, Red Scale, 2 paladin epic books,
4 spells
Drops off Lord Bob were Efreeti Ice Staff, and some book.
Drops off Velk were Velks Book, Ring, Mage Boots, a bracelet, and 4 spells.
Oh one other thing, I don't know why but tonight I saw one of the funniest
drops Ive seen so far... Velketor dropped an item called "HEHE Meat" It's
an edible meal.. I dunno why but I just died laughing when I saw it, I know
you can buy this in Oggok but I still laugh everytime I see it ... wtg

August 29th, Agony completes 2 more epics, and its first set of light sabres!

After continually bad luck with epic drops for warriors, we finally got the
final piece needed for Trueblade's epic. With several Agony warriors all
being stuck in the same spot, today the spotlight was shining on Trueblade.
Special thanks to Caer Cadarn for aiding in the epic adventure. Gratz to
Trueblade on the first Agony warrior epic.
We couldn't stop there though so we slammed together a team and wrapped up
Tactikals Rogue epic as well. Gratz Tacti!

August 27th-28th, Agony gets a little Trakanon tail .. er loot.

Agony caught Trakanon just before the servers went down, nothing exciting
just another dead dragon. Drops were Bard BP to Kenchi, Cloak of Piety to
Roaris, and some teeef.
The day before (27th) we hit up some epics pretty hardcore. 2 Chardok Kings, 2
Chardok Queens, 2 Chardok Princes, 3 Ixblats. After that was done we hit
PoG. Loot was great we managed to squeeze out 3 chest drops. Warrior BP to
Tress, Necro Robe to Shauku, and Enchanter robe to Morph. Gratz you
guys.

August 25th, Agony does mad EXP in Seb, Agony 4 - Trakanon 0

Agony has been in the mad dash to raise a few levels and hit Sebby in a
major way. We had Disco, Chef, N/G, and Myco's camped with 4 different
guild groups. We knew that Trakanon was due up soon so we kept an eye out
for him. Sure enough in the wee hours of the morning he reared his ugly
head and we put him down. We have yet to lose a battle against this green
beast. Gratz to Jebb on your Donal's BP, and Akethedar
on yer Poison Mantle.

August 24th, Jesus, can we get some Haste please!?

Woot... Agony has been on an EXP rampage for the last 3-4 days pushing the
levels up. Tonight one of our guild exp groups got together and ported into
Wakening Lands only to find that Wuoshi was waiting to say hi. Well, we
couldn't let our guild brothers just get owned by that green dragon so we
decided to pay a little visit in force.

August 18th, Dain 2 - Agony 0 ... 3 more epics done!
|
Agony made an attempt on the Dain 2 days ago, and got him down to DAI before
failing and dying. Today we re-gathered and decided to take another try at
him with a different strategy.
The good news is our new strategy was perfect, definetly what we needed to
kill him, however we ran into some other unfortunate luck including a LD
main tank which turned our attempt from a potential win, to a loss.
The raid was great, the effort was great and we would have succeeded but we
decided that time was not on our side and we did not make another attempt
after the failure. We will get you Dain, we will get you VERY soon.
BUT WAIT! It gets better! After the Dain we took an hour break to
get some rest and food and decided that the day had to end with a bigger
bang. From Kithicor to Fear,
raid after raid moving very fast we tore through the mobs like nothing and
now have 3 happy new epic owners!
Gratz Gwath on the rogue epic, Bruennor on the paladin epic, and Fydar on
the wizard epic!

August 17th, Wuoshi ... Agony 3 - Trakanon 0
|
Agony caught wind that Wuoshi was up in WL, so we decided to portal bomb his
ass and kill him. We formed up, buffed and zoned in. The plan went
flawlessly Wuoshi was at "Wu" in a matter of seconds with no deaths then all
of a sudden out of no where "You have been disconnected". Thanks VI for the
ZONE CRASH... however Wakening Lands wasn't the only zone that crashed,
rumor had it that Sebelis had also gone down so we decided to pay Trakanon a
visit to avenge the Wuoshi depop.
Drops were Druid BP to Thalya, Shadow Knight BP to Bank, 2 teeth.

August 16th, Another 2 epics hammered out!

Agony has been tearing the epic scene up this week. We've completed 5 epics
in a few days with 3 more around the corner. The Agony team is on fire!

August 9th-12th, Epics on fire! Raids galore!
|
We just can't get enough! Epics have overrun the guild for the last few
days as we continue to get closer and closer for members. We finished 3
this evening and tomorrow should wrap up a few more, quite the busy bodies we've
been.
We also managed to slip in a Chardok raid, Western Wastes raid, and a Fear
raid. Gratz to all who got epic pieces and loot.
Gratz to Akur on the Wizard epic, Roca on the Mage epic, and Shauku on our
first Necro epic!

August 3rd-7th, Hate, Fear, Chardok Royals, Trakanon, Epics!

Well these last few days have been busy. We've been pushing the envelope on
raids to finish up some much needed epics and aquire a few pieces of gear
for our new folks.
Lots of goodies have been distributed to the guild
and a special gratz to Krones on finishing another rogue epic for
Agony. A big big gratz to Floh, Agony's only Bard on the completion of her
epic!

August 2nd, Talendor dropped like a bad habit.
|
We made an attempt on Talendor several weeks ago and came up just short.
Another guild managed to down him before we could make a 2nd attempt.
Tonight Talendor was up and we got that 2nd attempt and this time he did not
escape the wrath of Agony. Loot was pathetic... gloves, scale, bag, 5
spells. Great work by everyone who attended .. until the next time :)

July 30th, Server crashes, PoG kicks down the loot!

This evening the server crashed pretty hard, not once, not twice, but 3
times. We took full advantage of the flaw on Verants part and smashed PoG
with a passion, however we had to stop by Karnors and pay our friend Venril
Sathir a visit. I think the total time from zone in to death was maybe 15
minutes, he died so fast it was a complete joke.
Shortly thereafter off to
PoG we went. We came out with so many pieces of gear I can't even begin
to list them. The biggest scores of the night were a Monk Chestpiece, a
Necro Robe, and the Berserker Breastplate (warrior). Gratz to Krialis,
Truebalde, and Jasmeen, and every other member who got gear.

July 28th, Plane of Sky adventures...
|
Agony headed back to the Plane of Sky to wrap up some more epics, attain
more epic pieces, and finish off some quest trinkets from the last
trip.

Well after this abuse from VI's zone and finding out their views on
self-sexual activity the members spoke up about it... here's what one member
stated.
Clearly I need some time away from this game, it's starting to get just a

Agony decided to do a weekday PoG raid just for the hell of it, expecting a
semi-minor turn out, the raid turned into a full fledged war on the tree's
and animals.
